Return to Rita
I don’t know if these ‘Return to Rita’ t-shirts are a way to keep two elderly people together where one might be becoming senile. But what I do know is that this couple has a sense of humour.
If you look at the photo the waiter is looking at the guy wearing the “If lost return to Rita” t-shirt and the woman wearing the “I am Rita” t-shirt as though he might make the joining happen. He’s not going to let two other breakfast goers get in the way of love.
The question, for me, is this, “at what distance is it acceptable to get this guy and return to Rita?” surely if you can see them both, then they are still close enough. If you can see one but not the other, then how would you ever know who Rita was?
