Here is the third video in the four part mini-series that helps you to work out when someone is being a bit naughty and telling you lies.
For those that enjoyed the simplicity of the technique shared in the second episode, you are going to love how simple this technique is also.
While you need to be talking to people when you use technique number two, this technique you can actually use with people you are watching from a distance.
How cool is that!
You will be looking out for congratulatory poses.
Typically these are touching the back of the neck, head or shoulders just after a person has been deceptive. Almost congratulating themselves about getting the lie past the person they are talking with.
Along with congratulatory poses comes the blocking poses where people will cover their mouths or touch their noses just prior to or after they tell a lie. In this instance it is as if the person is trying to hold the lie by blocking it.
These actions happen subconsciously without the person being aware of them or why they are doing that action. In fact, most people feel like they just need to scratch that area it’s that automatic.
Of course, care must be taken to realise when this is happening in relation to something someone is saying or whether they do just need to scratch an itch. A good tip is to ask the same question a again sometime later.
